BELIEVING IS SEEING

Predominantly it has been said and propounded that "seeing is believing" in the societies where most of us grew up and still live in now.

But my findings as I grew up in understanding, I came to know that such ideology is one of the descriptions of mediocrity. People with such belief don't do very well in life.

Hardly before you find anything excellent about the works of their hands in career, business, ministry and family. Doing studies critically about global success-stories from different parts of the world, I found out one common thing in them, and that is the possession of an uncommon dream.

In order words, everyone of them were and are dreamers. No one can become outstanding in life without a dream. Expecting to see things physically manifesting or signs before you could believe what you intend to do and achieve would make you end as a failure.

Let's consider some of the applications of this ideology of "seeing is believing.":
1. Waiting for perfect conditions before taking action.
2. Expecting outstanding accomplishments without the details of 'process'.

Loads of young and energetic people have become liabilities in the midst of their days. What an aberration! If you must become a force to be reckoned with wherever you find yourself; in your field of expertise, in your entrepreneurial adventure, in your family life, just to mention a few, you must not wait for all resources and favorable circumstances to be available before strategic actions are taken.

If you must become great and inspiring to people, you must value the importance of metamorphosis in principle. "Believing is seeing" is therefore fundamental to ones success in life and destiny.

The following are attitudes of people with this ideology:
1. Possibility mentality
2. Positive perception
3. Consequential acceptance
4. Strategic planning
5. Continuous improvement
6. Value for excellence
7. Positive confession
8. Association with the right people
9. Renewal
10. Quest for quality information and many more

I encourage you to take the bull by the horn today; never settle for average, but go all out for what you believe. I remain your friend and strategist. Stay inspired!

MEDIAVOICE

FAITH: NOT JUST AN INSTRUMENT BUT THE LIFE WE LIVE

A wise man once said, "when purpose is not known abuse is inevitable." One of the most abused concepts of the supernatural in the church and the world alike, is "faith." Just as the subject of discussion states, the faith of the believer is not just what we use to get things, but the life we live.

Why are we talking about 'things' here? It is because of the experience of deprivation that have taken hold of the minds of people, most especially the blacks. Our perception about the kingdom experience and with God is all about what to get from Him.

Little wonder we have the level of hypocrisy, iniquity and all forms of ridiculous acts skyrocketing in the body of Christ. Spiritual leaders now leave the place "faith as a lifestyle" and concentrate on "faith as an instrument" to bamboozle the gullible's in Church to gain fame and to perpetually keep the people in bondage.

Until we as individuals would desist from 'gain' and what to get from God we would never experience the wonder working power of God in our lives. Because the power of Jesus is in the lifestyle of faith and not in the acquisition of things.

Why the predominance of this mindset of "faith as an instrument?"
1. It is because of the experience of deprivation of the basic needs of life such as, food, clothing and shelter. 2. It is because of the faulty understanding and concept of success.
3. It is because of the preaching of the gospel through human philosophy and wisdom that actually bring people to Church.

This perpetual search for gains and rewards from God would only produce a people that are weak in character, in attitude and timid in expressing the goodness and power of God.

From my observation, I have come to discover that the same underlying features that describes us as a people in the world is also the same in the church. For example, the subject of laziness in Africa, even in government and church organizations. How do I know this? Anywhere laziness rules, there is bound to be a people who look for short-cuts to succeed. You will wonder why we don't pay attention to 'process' and development as we look at these considerations. With the massive concentration of mineral deposits in our nation, we should be among the most distinguished across the globe.

But on the contrary, we are still among the poorest. This is borne out of laziness in terms of creating efficient systems and structures in production processes, rather we have chosen the short-cut of dependence on foreign products. Also, with the high level concentration of churches in our nations most especially among the blacks, we ought not to be afraid of Christians becoming government leaders, we ought not be afraid of doing business with Christians, just to mention a few. Why? We prefer to leverage churches as prayer-platforms to get 'material things' from God rather than for our development in order to express the nature and power of God for the world to glorify Jesus.

At this juncture, I would like to present the most profitable dimension of faith, not as an instrument, but as the life we live. Just as it is recorded in scriptures, "Now it is evident that no person is justified (declared righteous and brought into right standing with God) through the Law, for the Scripture says, The man in right standing with God [the just, the righteous] shall live by and out of faith and he who through and by faith is declared righteous and in right standing with God shall live."

Faith as the 'life we live', involves 'process', commitment, transformed perception, vision, and several other factors. As I conclude, let your desire be to live the life of faith and not just the use of faith for "things." Thank you for reading this article. I remain your friend and strategist.

STANDOUT!

Popularity and predominance are not always the attributes of rightness. If you must stand out, you must be able to develop a system within that can check the correctness of predominant thoughts and intentions within the society and the nation at large for rightness.

Standing-out is your capacity to make the right choices on your standards, and values for living.

It is the acceptance of responsibility for your decisions and the consequences of ones life. It is choosing to give direction to your life without external unnecessary infringement on your individuality.

One of the reasons why people don't walk in Favour is because they have not developed the capacity to stand for something.

Favour is believed to be the controlling power that secures events and channels resources towards the accomplishment of the vision and dreams of men.

Only those with positive sense of esteem and significance are those who have developed the capacity to stand out from any society, irrespective of what seems popular and predominant.

Standing out requires character strength. Let's take a look at some of the significance of standing out from the crowd:
1. Sustainable success
2. Positioning for favors
3. Finding happiness
4. Earning societal influence
5. Setting the stage for generational impact.

I would like to reaffirm again that, the source of all predominant challenges in our society is connected to lack of personal growth and development. And this would remain one of the least things the average individual would invest in.

The average person would rather feel comfortable to pursue tangibles such as, money, power, fame etc, without understanding that, the only security from decadence is paying close attention to exploring our potentials.

What are some of the attributes of those that can stand out from and in any society:
1. Vision: understanding what you want out of life Standards and core values: becoming principled or guided by it.
2. Organization of your life around SMART goals
3. Competition with your potential: minding your own business without feeling any sense of intimidation from other people's achievements.
4. Creation of an environment for inspiration that would challenge past successes and accomplishments.
5. Passion about service to humanity and the community or nation of residence.

My recommendation as I conclude on this subject of discussion is that, standing for nothing in life would make a man end up in a non negotiated end.

Thank you for been a part of my world. I remain your friend and strategist. Stay inspired!

MAINTAINING QUALITY

It may not be known or predominant in the society where we live, that the best and most profound way of maintaining anything in life is by improving on them.

Until you improve on something, you are bound to lose the thing. And this principle is universal; it has no respect for location, status, profession, position or power.

If you don't improve on your quality as an individual, you will face the consequence of losing significance in the midst of your days. Improving on your quality is not the responsibility of the society where you live nor the government of your nation, but yours.

There are several individuals, the last time they ever payed attention to their development was when they wrote their final exams in college. One of the realities in our world you must understand is that, the world system will not wait for your progress. This same principle is also applicable in other areas such as marriage, business, politics, economics and so on.

The relationship you don't improve upon would become unbearable for you as a spouse. Many homes are in shambles right now; there is separation and divorce all around the world and one of the major reasons is because people do not take responsibility for improvement.

Also in business, if you as an entrepreneur don't improve on the quality of your products and services, the possibility of been out of business in the short run is high. Products and services must be consistently improved upon in order to meet the pressing needs of clients and customers in a constantly changing world.

The following are some reasons why people don't improve on their quality: 1. The deception of present success2. Competition at the 'local' and not on the global dimension.
3. The pursuit of reward over personal growth, development, systems and structures.
4. Low self esteem Negative value systems

The existence of 'failures' in various societies around the world are not products of economic circumstance, diabolical family foundations, curses or evil covenants, nor the mediocre environment, but failure to accept the responsibility for growth and development. It is high time we understood that we cannot solve problems at the same level they were created.

A solution today would definitely end up becoming obsolete tomorrow. For us as individuals to create a better us, there is need for reinvention of ourselves.

Therefore, how can a person improve his or her quality?
1. Quest for change
2. Value for excellence
3. Competing with your potential.
4. Setting goals
5. Searching and researching
6. Constructive Criticism of traditions
7. Change your association

I trust, that as you go through this article, your long awaited transformation will take effect in Jesus name. I remain your friend and strategist.

THE IGNORANCE OF THE KNOWLEDGEABLE

This sounds like a contradiction, but it is the truth. When a man thinks he has knowledge just for the purpose of feeling good about himself without giving priority to others (to adding value and service to humanity and the society), he is not just ignorant , but ignorant-personified.

From my observation, I have discovered that what controls people who are graduates, those who venture into business activities, establish institutions and become public leaders, is this mindset of "acquisition just for the feeling of importance without giving priority to human development."

Check out third world nations; most especially underdeveloped and developing nations, you will find the predominance of this ideology not just in individuals but in its operation.

Homes, institutions, societies, states, and nations ruled by such individuals will never experience real transformation.
Listed below are some of the symptoms:
1. Value for money without little or no recognition for human life.
2. Respect for personalities without the value for principles.
3. Failed and manipulated justice system.
4. Unnecessary delay in processes and procedures that should emerge for development.
5. Formulation of guiding laws for the Favour of the selected few.
6. Unprincipled leadership.
7. Inequality within the system of governance.
8. Disregard for hard work and industry.
9. Abuse and waste of valuable resources for the pursuit of public recognition.
10. Detestation for creativity and innovation.

With the aforementioned symptoms, I encourage you to do your own study using homes, societies, institutions, states and nations as case studies, you would be overwhelmed by the outcome.

My encouragement is, before any change can really take effect in any society such as ours, responsibility must be accepted for a shift in the paradigms of the people.

Therefore, what is the way out of these as the case may be:
1. Deleting from our body of rules, regulations and policies that promotes inequality, favoritism, in our system.2. Establishment of laws that would make public offices financially unattractive but service oriented.
3. Reinforcement of a workable judicial system that would be void of unnecessary delay schemes.
4. Provision of an enabling ground where everyone should be responsible for the management of their resources.
5. Recreation of an educational system that values innovation, creativity, and that would form the basis of economic development. Not a system that is interested in breeding graduates without practicable experience and an economy-friendly knowledge.

As I conclude this subject of discussion, I would like to say with all sense of humility and passion that, until we take responsibility for our transformation as individuals, institutions, societies and nations, our expectation would remain a daydream.

PUBLIC RECOGNITION OR PERSONAL SIGNIFICANCE?

It would interest you to know that the intention of a larger percentage of people in any society is for the attainment of public recognition and not personal significance.
The vast majority of decadence, instability, underdevelopment, mediocrity, abuse and waste in our societies are all directly or indirectly linked to this intention in the minds of people.
Public recognition speaks of seeking to create a manipulative impression in the imaginations of people, for the purpose of sensual aggrandizement with or without adequate content to match.
Considering the personality of Christ amongst others, we are encouraged to allow the thoughts and ideologies of Christ be ours. All through His human experience, He was all out for God's purpose; personal significance and not public recognition (John 7:1-10). In reality, any where 'public recognition' seems to be a predominant, manipulation would be the order of the day in such environment.
Personal significance is about driving towards the fulfillment of purpose and seeking to reach the fullness of ones potential.
The mindset of personal significance breeds quiet confidence in that man. The choice of becoming personally significant represents one of the most profound ideologies in the entire world.
The fundamental reason why the drive for Personal recognition exists in our world is because of personal insecurity. This is borne out of low self-esteem or inferiority complex. It could be deduced that, the intention or ideology of seeking personal recognition is not a function of external controlling factors, but internal.
Until a man could gain ownership over his thoughts and emotions he would perpetually struggle for survival in life.
Materialism and power are not the causes for personal recognition, but the loss of a man's control over his thoughts and emotions.
Therefore, how can one set himself free from this destructive ideology?

They are enumerated as follows:

1. Regulate the information and thoughts that gain access into your mind.2. Understand you are different; you cannot be someone else.
3. Discover the uniqueness of your individuality: purpose, potential, passion, personality, etc.
4. Compete with your potential
5. Mind your own business
6. Celebrate the difference in others and seek collaboration
7. Learn the art of service

In conclusion, I encourage you to let your pursuit in life be for personal significance and not public recognition. I remain your friend and strategist. Stay inspired!

FINDING OPPORTUNITIES

A wise man once said, "success is born when opportunity meets with preparation" Finding opportunities in life is not a gift, neither is it an heritage of a chosen few. It is a learned skill.
People complain, give excuses and search for someone else to blame for their predicaments and failures, without understanding that, opportunities not prepared for, would not be easily identified and maximized.
It must be clearly and critically understood that, everyone has equal chances for opportunities in life. You may not agree with me, but we have recorded success stories globally who started from "nothing" but ended up becoming "something" in our world.
The likes of Colonel Sanders; who started life all over again at the age of 65, after failing for about 1009 times. Abraham, the reputed father of all nations had his transformation at the age of 75; born from an idolatrous background and suffered many years of setbacks in childbearing.
What about Jesus the Savior of the human race, who was born from a village that no one ever became great, ended up becoming the Messiah of the world. And several others with similar situation and experience, but just to mention a few.
Therefore, no one have reasons to complain nor to give excuses. Everyone must deliberately accept responsibility for his or her life.
Let me share some few thoughts on how to recognize opportunities:
1. Build service experience: nothing comes to fruition instantaneously, but follows a definite process. This is the crucible where preparation is born.
2. Develop the attitude of ownership: this means putting your life in your hands and understanding that whatever the outcome of your life may be, you are responsible.
3. Enquiry mind: Until you are willing to ask the right questions you may never build capacity for generating strategic ideas. This also describes, positioning your mind through observation, listening, reading and mind storming.
4. Value excellence: mediocrity shuts a man's mind against strategic ideas. Think excellence to attract new resources for new opportunities.
5. Focus on process: when reward becomes a man's priority, he would lose sight of quality, thereby missing out of the real action.
6. Detest tradition: you must learn the art of thinking differently or what is predominantly termed, "thinking out of the box."
7. Place priority on people: people are opportunities in disguise. The more you add value to others and make life better for them, the more you experience new favors for new opportunities.
8. Develop new skills: training and development enhances finding how things could be done more efficiently. New insights for new opportunities.
9. Associate with the right people: people are opportunities in disguise. A disconnection from the right sets of people could keep you at bay from the right opportunities.
10. Surf the web creatively: be innovative in your search on the Internet. Do not limit yourself to social networks, but be constructive and deliberate about your search in areas of your passion, purpose and potential.
Conclusively, opportunity abounds everywhere! Thank you for your time. God bless you. I remain your friend and strategist.

PEACE

I would like to establish a different perception on "peace" as it relates to people and not societal nor national. The question now is, what is peace?
Peace means, quiet confidence in ones individuality and uniqueness. And this is borne out having insights and quality information not in terms of similarities, but in difference.
Our world is occupied with young individuals without a sense significance, identity and purpose.
The entire world is in a chaotic mass currently, despite massive advancements in science, technology, management and so on. Advancement without the peace (personal quiet confidence), chaos is bound to the order of the day.
Check out and analyze current situations in various continents; Africa, Asia, Middle East etc and uprising issues in relation to world peace, there is no doubt that until peace (personal quiet confidence) is discovered, developed and deployed efficiently and strategically, the trouble in our world would linger for eternity.
At this juncture, I would like to say that, rather than embarking on the endless pursuit of identifying and defining ourselves by extrinsic factors, we must advocate on peace, that is, finding who we really are intrinsically.
